Pembrokeshire is a very beautiful county within Wales, with some fantastic beaches, historic castles and many activities.
Beaches
Pembrokeshire is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and with such variety, there are beaches to suit all. They range from quiet alcoves, only accessible by boat, to quite large beaches such as Newgale.
Barafundle beach in the South of Pembrokeshire is well known for its beauty.
Tenby is a very pretty town with some lovely clean beaches. The boat to Caldey island also launches from here.
Part of the latest Robin Hood film was filmed in Pembrokeshire at Freshwater West. See video below:
Walking and the Pembrokeshire Coast path
With over 621 miles (1000 km) of footpaths and bridleways, walking is an ideal way of exploring the beauty of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail wends its way from Amroth in the the South to St Dogmaels (near Cardigan) in the North. Some 186 miles (299 km) in length it includes some spectacular coastal scenery and seascapes.
The entire route of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a superb challenge to the walker, especially when the 35,000 feet of ascent and descent are taken into account! However those with less energy can opt to enjoy shorter sections perhaps combining an inland section of footpath to construct a circular walk. For further details see the following links:

Walks in the Park
One of the nicest walks on the Coast path is between Abereiddy and Abercastle, visiting the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy and the harbour at Porthgain with a stop for lunch at the Sloop Inn!
Castles
There are
51 forts and castles such as Pembroke Castle, Manorbier Castle and Carew Castle. There is also St David's Cathedral. Many of the castles have activities on throughout the Summer for all the family. There are campsites nearby. Castell Henllys is an iron age fort. Links:
